Our story
A craft, not a rush
Coffee is a craft that should not be rushed.
Loons Coffee started with a simple idea: a corner of East Lake Street where the coffee is taken seriously and nobody is in a hurry. We roast in small batches, source our beans ethically from farms we trust, and bake fresh every single morning.
The room was built for the neighborhood. A long communal table for the regulars, sunny window seats for the laptop crowd, a semi-private room for meetings, and a patio out back when the Minnesota weather cooperates. Walk the parkway, then come warm up with us.
We are named for the loon, Minnesota’s state bird, because we like what it stands for: at home on the water, unbothered, and unmistakably local.
